Portrait Artist statement

My art work  is  a   drawing  of  my  mom  and  i like  the  way  it   turn out  just   have   to  give  that  spark  to make  it  better   than  i has  looked to make that   realistic come   to  life. 

To  help me and  how  did i  make   my  piece  was that i  took my  mom pic   and  look  were  the  values were  and  then  turned  it  in my   own  version  using the values  from  like  to  dark. on  day  one   i wanted  to  make   it  look  like   a   never   drew   the   drawing     so  i took  a   blend   tool  and  my   finger   to  give  it  the  contrast. on  the  second  to  third  day  i just   drew  in  the  light  to  dark  values   and  saw wow this   looks  good  so  as  the  last days  came   i  took it   and  look at  it   from  and  angle  and  said  wow  that  look  just   like  my  mom.

The  big  ideas  behind  my  art work  was  to draw  a drawing  i never drew  before  i did   draw my   mom  and  dad   before but  not  as  good   as   this   drawing   because   this  turn out  good   and  i was   surprise  to  see  the  way  it   came   out.

my   goal was   to  make  a   drawing  that  my   mom  would  like  because   she   always  did   things  for  me   and  that   i  wanted  to make   something  that  she   would  like   and   show  off  or   just   smile   and  say   good  job.

my   overall  thoughts  was  that   i  love   this   project   and will  go  back  and  keep  making  it  better    so  it  would  look good . i  just like   this  project   and   cant   wait  to  do  more   by  the   days.

Game of Life Artist Statement

​

The work  that im  doing is from a project called game of life and we could ever do  a  metaphor of a  game  of   our   childhood. I chose to do a metaphor  because i  can relate to  it more then the  game  because  it had   more to it  than  the  game  in  my  opinion.

 

So  the   first  thing   I   use  to create my art work  was  I  took  a  pick of my hand and   then  I placed my   took  pick  beside  my   sketch book an the  drew  what I had   then I took another picture and  then I took  the  drawing  of   my  hand to  a  app  called  pics-art and  that   help  me   with  my   media and I was  ok  about  it   and the   way   it  came out  iv  could   do  more   to  it  even  though its  do  today and   I  might. 

The big idea  behind my   work  that  I was   going for was a drawing that people could   see  and   relate to and  that  I can draw a  similar drawing.

I like the  draw  but   i  could   do  a   better job  at   addressing a metaphor i  a way because anyone can  draw a   but the  way kit turned out was not  my   best drawing  for this  project.

Printmaking Artist Statement

Describe artwork 

 

My art work is a piece of three pictures of of one called printmaking lol,😂we could do this project in many ways the first way which almost the whole class chose was printmaking with acrylic paint,second printing with pencil. Or we could draw it as many times and paint it to get hour grade.

 

How do I create my artwork

 

The first thing I did to make my art work was I took some styrofoam I got from a restaurant and I cut it out, then I took it a placed it on the front table and I also cut out a piece of paper to draw what I was going to draw ✍🏾 on the styrofoam. Next I placed the paper over the styrofoam and drew a picture into the styrofoam that was on the paper. The last steps was to add paint and place it on the paper. 

 

What was the big idea Behind

My big idea on this was that I was going Thur on this piece but I wanted to get this to come out to look really good 😊 so that my peers would love it but I also want it to be special and worth something lol 😝. 

 

What was the goal for my artwork

 

I really did not have a goal for my art work other then in my last paragraph so that’s all I had for this paragraph 

 

What was my overall thoughts for his artwork

 

My overall thoughts lol was that I had fun working on this  and love to do it again.

Food Sculp. Art. St.

in my drawing i use texture to  create rhythm so  it can  take its shape as the days came along it took  some time to  get the rhythm of  and it  came out so  wired at first then  it took  time to  make its shape and its rhythm so  it can turn  out as i  wanted  it  to  be.  this piece has a lot of   things to look  over but i  did  it so  its what i like.

 

i  use clay to  create my art work so  the  first thing i  did was  i  went out and   bough  some  water base clay, then  i  took took a  piece of  clay and  made  it   into  a  white ball  and  i  made the  oven  this   piece is  a  pizza  piece so i took the oven  and  made  it  bigger  because  it   was small.   next i  made the   the  pizza an  then  i made the toppings and   every thing  that  goes in the oven . the third and fourth  thing i  did  was  i made a  pizza paddle and i  made a pizza cutter in this it took 20  min to make and  it  was   ok i  struggle but it turn out good.

my big  idea was to  make something good and creative and i  love it   and  it  turned out   ok  and i did have fun  with  it  because   it   was   something i never   did before and  it   came   out  ok. 

my  goal was  to  do  something  i never  did  and  i  loved   it  and  i  had   fun  with  it  and  it turned out really  good  and  i  love the  good way  of  how  to make a  pizza in  a style   i  did   not  do  before.

my overall  though on  this was that i love this   piece  did have   fun  and want to  do  more of this in  the nerve future and i  just thougt my   idea an everyone was  good   and   great.  

Transformation Artist St. 

My  art work  is  a   cartoon piece that i  turned my  dog  into  a  cartoon  so  i  use   the   super  Mario style  to  create  my  piece and also  i  drew   this  piece   on  my  phone  of  course.    

So  the  first   thing  that  i  did  to  create  my  picture was  i took a  pic of  my  dog  and  his  name is  chalk  then i  i  pulled  up  a  image  of Mario  on my   laptop  to  draw the   ref for  the  pic.  the  app  i  use   to  draw  this  piece  was  adobe   draw   and   i  did  not  know how  to  use   this  drawing  app  but  i  got  it now.  as  i  was   drawing  the  picture i  had  to  include  chalks photo  so  i  could  get  his  likeness also   a  look  at  so me   images to get  the  cartoon style  that  i  was  going  for  to. it  took  me  2hr to  draw this  piece  so  that  i cloud   make   it  look good  as  possible.   

MY big  idea was  to make   a  pic so  it   would  look  cool and  people  would  love   it  also  that  my  dog  would  like  it  because he  loves   my  drawing   be  cause   he  barks   so  loud   when  i  showed  him my  drawing .  i  love   the  way  they  came   out to  look  just  like  him because  he  is  so  lovely and  i  hope  he  likes   it   and  other people   like  lt . 

 

So  the overall  thoughts  was  that   i  had   fun  doing  the  piece  for  the  second  time.  it  was  a challenge but  i  pulled it  thru  and  the  app  is   a  great   app  and  i  advise anyone  who don't   know  adobe  draw  to  check  it  out .      

Master's Artist Statement

​

so in my piece i chose to draw pop art of a women in the summer who likes to wear makeup but its getting  messy  so  i wanted  this  drawing  to  her sitting  down think about hey my face and how  bad the weather is.

 

first i took my pad and i  drew  her sitting  down  then  i drew the  detain  and   also  drew  the   words   cuss   this  was  a  pop  art   drawing . next  i  went  to  my  phone   and  open  the  pics  art  app  and  add   the  color  to  my  drawing.

 

the  big  idea behind my  artwork  like   always  was   to go  for   something   i  never made before and  i wanted  to  challenge myself to make something new and i did i loved how i became to be.

My overall thoughts  was  ok i did like it   it was   ok  so  i  wish  i could do  more  but  i  love  it. 

Mag. Image Artist Statement

Billy Billy Mixt Media Piece 

MY work is a   piece of work that i never did but i have  did something similar  to the drawing but in this drawing  it help  me   get  the  piece to  look  as   good  as  i wanted this  picture had a  way of letting me  know how i wanted this pic to  come out. this piece was   a design  of work  ethic of time it took  to  make and  i wanted to  come out with  some   that look good   but also  great. 

The way i  created my  work  was i  pulled  up  the  class website with  the artist  Njideka Akunyili Crosby  and   i  use her and my  design  to  create my  art   work. The  main first  thing i  did was go  in an  draw out   were i  wanted  the  cutouts to  go  and  where i  drew i  just went  in ad   put  the   cut  out   in .  Then i  took  a  pic  of  the  art work and  then  i  took the  drawing  to a  few   apps  on  my  phone   and  that's how  i  got the  background and .  and   the   colors   in the   face.

 The  big idea was  to  create a  piece that look similar to  the artist and  my   own that i wanted  also  the  main  big  idea was  to  try  to  get   it  look  realistic as  possible .

my goal was  to  get  this  piece done  and  have  it   come  out good but like  i  said  i  have  not have  done   this   pic before but its  a challenge  and  i thank  it   turning out like  i  wanted for the  person  to  look  at  it . 

Overall  i thinks  this   was  a  good  project  that had   alot  of  challenges and  i  would  love   to  do  more and   i  hey  i love  this   piece
